The problem with Race Photography

Having completed the Great Eastern Run 2010, I found some pictures for sale on a running photography website. I liked the pictures, but the price was crazy.

It was £50 for a digital download of 6 images, and only 4 of them were any good. This included no editing, no commemorative images etc.

What I fail to understand is they company has taken the photos. They have paid a photography to take them. But, at £50 I won't buy them.

So instead of selling them for a few pounds per photo, where me, and many more runners would buy them, the company and I lose out.

I get no photos, they get no money.
