Now, I must admit that I have never really found a use for Twitter. I am one of those people who signed up more out of interest than any actual need, want or purpose.
A friend showed me the #uksnow Map over at http://uksnow.benmarsh.co.uk//.
I think this is a really interesting use of real time information. Users simply say if it is snowing in their area using the uksnow hash tag, and the data is fed over to the UK map. This gives real time information showing a current picture of the UK weather.
I find this extremely interesting and am just wondering what other uses it could have!
